A message from the principal...

Hello Blazer Fans and Athletes!

We are looking forward to a great year in Blazer Athletics.  Our student athletes have been working very hard and are ready to do their best.

Central’s athletic programs offer our students an exciting opportunity to become involved in our school community.  Students gain experience in many areas that will aid them later in life.  These include working together as a team, self-discipline, self-sacrifice, and time management.

We are fortunate to have dedicated student athletes, excellent coaches, and outstanding athletic facilities.  We are grateful for the support and good sportsmanship of our parents and fans.

Remember, Once a Blazer Always a Blazer!  Go big Blue!

A message from the athletic director...

I would like to welcome everyone to Blazer Sports!  We encourage you to attend home and away contests in each of our twenty varsity sports and support our student athletes in a positive way. We ask our coaches and athletes to present themselves as good ambassadors of the school and community at all times.  Please help us by doing the same in a positive way.  The value of interscholastic athletic competition is multi-faceted and includes many issues beyond the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.  The concepts of teamwork, self-discipline, accepting rules, dealing with adversity, respecting your opponent, respecting the game officials and accepting their decisions are all ideas found at the core of why interscholastic competition is so essential to the high school experience.

Our Coaching staff has been working with the student athletes so they may achieve both on and off the playing fields.  We believe athletics do not stop at the end of a practice or contest.  Athletics is an experience that will be used for a lifetime.

I look forward to seeing you at many of our contests this season.  Good luck to all our athletes and coaches.

GO BLAZERS!!!
