On behalf of the IHSAA and the Elkhart County Tobacco Prevention Cessation Coalition, thank you for Elkhart Central's participation in the 2007/08 IHSAA Role Model Program. It was a pleasure to work with the high caliber of student-athletes who were selected this year, especially Lauren Gowdy. She is a wonderful representative of your school and an excellent role model for the community.

The 200 posters and 1,000 pocket schedules featuring Lauren are being sent to the Elkhart County Tobacco Prevention Cessation Coalition. We ask that you make sure all of the materials are distributed throughout the community in your elementary school(s) and middle school(s), local businesses, restaurants, etc. Good follow up on your behalf will be much appreciated.
