Another PowerSchool hint: You can email your child's teacher by simply clicking on their teacher's name within PowerSchool. This will open your desktop email program, for example; Microsoft's Outlook or Apple's Mail program. This function does not work with web based email like Gmail, Yahoo mail, etc. However, you can copy and paste the teacher's email address into the web based mail address line.

PowerSchool Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who do I contact for PowerSchool access?
A. Parents and guardians of middle and high school students will be given their IDs and passwords during Parent/Teacher conferences this fall. Parents and guardians of students in grades 2-6 will be given their access information at conferences in February. If you did not receive your access information at conferences, please visit the main office at your student's school to pick up your username and password.

Q. What is the web address for PowerSchool?
A. For most students, the PowerSchool portal's address is: https://ps.elkhart.k12.in.us/public. Career Center information can be found at https://pseacc.elkhart.k12.in.us/public. Read more...

PowerSchool - How is your child doing in school? Find grades on each entered assignment, find out the current grade in each class and more. Elkhart Community Schools is pleased to announce that it has acquired a new centralized and more effective integrated student information system, known as PowerSchool, from Pearson Education. This system has replaced the STI application that we have been using to manage student information (demographics, grades, attendance, etc.) for the last seven years. Students and their families will also have real-time, online access to information using this program. The program will be available for parents in late September.
