COACH’S MESSAGE

The boys are back in town! Welcome back to Blazer Basketball. This year’s NIC race is wide open as there are several strong teams. In order for the Blazers to compete, we will need to rely on our experience, team chemistry, and defense. As the old saying goes, “Offense wins games, defense wins championships.” We are looking this year for the defense to be the heart of our team. We must also be willing to share the basketball to make it difficult for our opponents to stop us. This year’s group is seasoned and we must rely on this experience to close out games and be mentally tough. We hope your visit to Northside Gym, one of the greatest venues for high school sports, is filled with exciting times. We hope you enjoy and cheer us on, which will help us in our quest to be the best team we can be, win or lose.
